Sound problem

• I recently connected my laptop (HP Pavilion) to my Vizio Plasma TV. I get a great picture but I am experiencing backround or static noise when listening to the sound thru the TV or thru the surround system. I have tried several different cables (just in case I had a bad cable)  I have used contact cleaner on my laptop to insure the outlets are clean. I have tried turning down the sound on the computer and up on the tv and visa / versa with no luck. The static sound is noticiable when watching movies, as well as when I just have my desk top showing on the tv with no video playing. Does anyone have any ideas?  Radio Shack did say they sell a noise reducer that may help. Thanks Dennis.

No blinking light or power

• I have a Mitsubishi model WS 65857.  I was watching tv on it the other day and it just turned off.  I unplugged it for a day and then re-plugged it back in but nothing happened.  ( I do hear a pop like the tv is getting power though when I plug it back in.)  I see several posts talk about a blinking green light but I do not even have that on my tv.  Any ideas on what I can do?  Thanks in advance.

• ahhhh yes here we are with the famus blinking sony problem my set in my shop is kdf-e42a10 (you would not believe the amount of cryon marks on this screen. wish i had a didgital camera to show you) some people have all the money to give to there kids playroom. anyway my thermal fuse is out,have print,but can't find it in the exploded view or part's list. on several other tv repair blogs or sights i belong to I came up with a part num of 1-910-023-93. (don't know if this part number is right ) ALSO I have found referance to a service bulliton #e29102171 from sony. not sure if this is related to my set or not. have not read it and cannot find it.(ANY HELP WITH THE CORRECT PART NUMBER AND THIS BULLITON WOULD HELP ME)  DOCTORDAVE

HD1080series I NEED HELP!!!!!

• My step father just gave me this TV, HD1080series. It worked for a week, now it won't turn on. The light in front goes on for about 10 secounds or less then goes off, nothing. Is it worth fixing the convergence is also messed up but lets get it turned on 1st. Please help I have a little TV on top of a Big TV and it looks stupid :(

RCA P56820BL no picture have sound

• Turn on TV and get picture and sound. A few seconds goes by and screen is black, still have sound. Any suggestions on what is going on?  Hate to trash it but mother-law loves it as she can see with the 56"  not the 19". Please help me fix the problem Linda

RCA RT2770 help!

• I just istalled it today and conected everything like im supposed too, but i cant get all four speakers to work together, its always the front left and the rear right or both front works the the rears wont..   Any help! thanks 

Miller and Kreissel

• As many of you are aware Miller and Kreissel has had its doors closed since October 2006. I am sure I am one of many waiting for the reopening as promised by many of forums. I have come across a new website www.mksoundsystem.com . Does anyone have any input on the validty of this site or new owners of the company?

Mitsubishi WS-55511

• Larry  I have found this site and researched may topics.  I now have a WS-55511 that has developed the blinking green light.  It stays on and will remain on even after the reset.  I have read you can send out the diagrams and pictures of some commom causes.  Could you please help and send any info to dm4par@zoomtown.com Thanks Daved

Trouble with older Sony Trinitron

• I have a 32" Sony Trinitron purchased in December 2000 that has been a great tv.  Most recently the red standby light started blinking.  It has a specific series of blinks every three seconds or so.  The blinks do not stop even when the set is turned off, although I have not tried to unplug the power cord.  The set is connected to cox cable via a digital cable modem.  When the set is first turned on and the video appears it blanks out and comes back on alternately.  The frequency of the blanking starts out rapidly at first and as time goes by the interval between blanks gets longer and longer until after around 8 or 10 minutes the picture stabilizes.  The red standby light still blinks its sequence, however.  The sequence is 5 blinks, pause, 5 blinks......and so on. I'm wondering if this can be repaired in the home and how much should be spent in light of the fact that this tv is 7+ years old.  If it's just a board change, it should be cheaper than if a technician having to actually take the tv out and replace a component on a board.  I have an...

Audio Problems with my Sony 53 Projection

• I have an 8 yearold Sony 53 inch projection TV. Yesterday it appears that the sound went out. I have tried going into the audio functions thru the remote to see if there was anything to adjust but no luck. As of now when I have the speaker turned on about every 3 or 4 seconds i can hear a pop with a little bit of audiable then it gos dead again.

Projection TV help

• I own an RCA 46 inch projection TV, model number P46924. I bought it new in 2002. Today, the screen went black. There is still audio. The TV is now clicking, but no picture. Does anyone know for sure what this is and what I need to do to fix it.  Thanks

LG 50' Plasma

• I got a LG 50 inch plasma tv it work fine at first but on HD channels theres a purple hue in bottom right corner with a line running up the screen a couple inchs from edge this can only be seen in HD and the more white the picture is (like on a NHL hockey game  that is in HD) the more you can see the purple hue and white line and help would be appreciated.

• Hi to all,  My daughter called to say that her Panasonic projection tv had died. Model PT47WX42F. What I need is a copy of the service manual if it's available. I also read somewhere that I may need a DVD for setting the convergence, any help will be appreciated.  Thanks

speaker help

• Can anyone tell me if there is a way of checking speakers to see if they are bad . I keep blowing recievers 3 of them . Or does anyone know the impedence of paradigm studio 100 v1. Ive replaced all of the wiring and checked for proper hook up and im at a loss.

• My 3 year old daughter thought it would be a good idea to take a pencil to our flat screen TV. It's Mitsubishi flat panel rear projection..... Please help me, my husband is very very upset with my little one at this moment. If I can fix it this, it might save my family unit
