TechLore Forums - Home Entertainment - Video Components I have a RCA ColorTRACK Plus TV - Model No. 727671SE or 127671SE - the first number is barely visible. I have an RCA remote, but it is not the original remote. When accessing the menu, I can only access certain options. I am unable to access the SETUP menu in order to put in the correct codes to be able to view movies on my DVD/VCR (combination set). I cannot tell what channel I am on because the TV cuts off parts of the right and left side of the screen. On the Menu - the VCR channel is 03. There is some curved distortion on those sides. The RCA remote I have doesn't have an "input" button. The GE Universal remote does. When I press it the picture displays un___? signal and the word "video" appears. The picture has lines going through it - no sound. When I run automatic programming, first it shows 96 labels stored and then it goes back to 3 channels stored, A and 0 showing up on the screen when accessing different channels. The back of the TV has on the OUT- S Video both red and white; "IN" area states at far top hand corner ... Hi all I have a problem in that my DVD seems to have no video outpu. I turned it on yesterday put the tv to AV and it did not show the dvd's start menu. I put a disk in and heard audio but no video. I have tested it on another telly and tried both s video and composite outputs but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong? I have just taken possesion of a Philips DVd723 second hand. When I try to open the disc tray, I get a 'blocked' message. Any ideas how to unlock it anyone? We are trying to transfer a boughten movie (one that CAN be copied) to another empty vhs tape. We have the cable needed. Ours have 3 prongs with the colors, white, red and yellow. How should the cables be hooked up? We have tried every combination but as yet have had no success. Would like step by step directions to hooking the wires. Thanks for any help. I have an SA-HT900 Panasonic surround sound system. The DVD player intermittenly pops and the sound goes out for an undefined time, only to come back unexpectedly. Since this is an integrated system, is it possible to replace only the DVD player? Any help would be appreciated...thanks. I have tape speed set on this VCR to SP, but when I play anything, it wants to go to LP and then has difficulty playing tapes without distortion and poor sound, probably because it’s incorrectly going into LP speed. Then it stops and goes into error code 3L 22 AA. When I record, it records for a number of seconds, then stops with the 3L 22 AA code. I also frequently go into error code 3L 22 AA when trying to rewind. Can anybody suggest a fix to stop my VCR automatically trying to play SP tapes at LP, and what the error code is all about? Are these two matters connected? I have a Pioneer DVD Player DV-414 and I turned it on, put a movie in, closed it, went to push play and nothing. Says 'no disc' but now won't let me eject the movie.....Is it time for a new dvd player?? Thanks so much... Chrisik I have the old receivers for my DishTV satellite. Now I have Comcast Digital Cable. Can I use the RCA receivers with Comcast if I get a CableCard from them or is the receiver proprietary beyond the card? Hello, I have several TV programs recorded on my DVR and am interested in recording them from the DVR to DVD using a recorder. Is there a way to do this or do I need to capture the TV programs and then record them to DVD with a DVD recorder? Thanks, Keith This may be me just being incredibly thick but I can not figure this out. I have a sony dvd rdr-gx120 and I have Sky TV (Satellite digital TV) hooked up to the DVD recorder and my ariel for normal TV also into my DVD recorder. I can record both Sky and normal television fine. I can also record Sky and watch normal (analogue) television by simply pressing the AV button. But if I am recording a program on normal TV i.e. recording from the ariel, I am not able to watch sky and change the channels on sky. The only way I can think to do this is by disconnecting the sky scart and plugging it directly into the tv instead of the DVD recorder. In short I want to watch record programs from terrestrial (analogue) television whilst I watch Sky TV. The sony manual is rubbish! Please help. |
