Title: Huawei Watch GT 4: A Fashion-Forward Design with Enhanced Health Monitoring Features
Huawei has unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT 4, at the “Wearable Strategy and New Product Launch” event in Barcelona, Spain. Building upon the success of its predecessor, the Watch GT 4 comes in two sizes and boasts a more fashion-forward design. The CEO of Huawei Health Team, Zhang Wei, emphasized the brand’s collaborative efforts with industry experts and universities in developing innovative solutions for their smartwatches.
Consumers can choose between the 46mm case and the new 41mm case. The latter features a pendant body design, while the former retains the octagonal case from the Watch GT 3. Both sizes offer multiple body and strap options, as well as various case colors. Notable features of the Watch GT 4 include round-the-clock health monitoring, women’s menstrual and ovulation intelligence prediction, sleep monitoring, sleep breathing monitoring, activity ring tracker, and access to over 200 fitness courses for free.
To ensure accurate health tracking, the watch is equipped with a range of sensors that monitor and sense various body functions. It supports five different positioning systems, including QZSS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou. The new Sunflower GPS technology enhances positioning data through beamforming, providing users with better tracking solutions for activities such as running, walking, and hiking. The upgraded TruSeen 5.5+ heart rate monitoring technology utilizes AI technology to improve the accuracy of heart rate readings.
Huawei claims that the 46mm variant of the Watch GT 4 offers up to 14 days of battery life, while the 41mm variant provides up to 7 days. The watches support wireless charging for convenient power top-ups. Additionally, they can function as Bluetooth devices, allowing users to take calls up to 100 meters away from their connected phones. The watches also support QR payments, although it is unclear whether they are compatible with Malaysian payment gateways at this time.
Huawei Malaysia has yet to announce the availability dates for the Watch GT 4. However, interested customers can pre-order the smartwatch from the official Huawei Malaysia online store by placing a RM50 deposit. Early bird buyers have the chance to win another Watch GT 4 and other prizes. Huawei will also be organizing an exclusive on-ground preview of the Watch GT 4 in the coming days, and interested individuals can register their interest on the Huawei Malaysia website.
Overall, the Huawei Watch GT 4 offers a blend of style and functionality with its fashion-forward design and advanced health monitoring features. As Huawei continues to push the boundaries of smartwatch technology, consumers can look forward to an enhanced user experience and improved fitness tracking capabilities.
