INVL Renewable Energy Fund I, managed by INVL Asset Management, has signed a €25 million loan agreement with Kommunalkredit Austria AG. The loan will be used to finance the construction of solar power plants in Romania with a total capacity of 51 MW. The fund is investing in a total of eight solar power plant projects in Romania, with a combined capacity of 451 MW. The fund’s portfolio of renewable energy projects currently stands at 483 MW. Additionally, the fund is developing solar park projects in Poland with over 32 MW of capacity. The total investment in the projects in Romania and Poland is expected to exceed €330 million, with construction set to be completed by the end of 2025. The INVL Renewable Energy Fund I was advised by Capcora, a German financial advisory firm, and Glodeanu & Partners, a Romanian law firm, in securing financing from Kommunalkredit Austria AG. This loan agreement highlights the fund’s commitment to investing in renewable energy projects and contributing to the reduction of emissions and increased energy security in Romania.
