This is made possible by the camera’s use of Wi-Fi HaLow technology, which operates on a sub-GHz frequency band and allows for high-performing Wi-Fi that can cut through the noise of other smart home devices connected via Wi-Fi. In comparison to traditional Wi-Fi security cameras, the Edge Camera provides 100 times more coverage area. The camera also features AI technology from Xailient, enabling it to detect objects, faces, and anomalies. It has a battery life of up to one year on a full charge and is set to launch in Q1 2024 with a starting price of $200.
